Terms Used In Tennessee Code 56-14-117
- Surplus lines agent: means an agent who is licensed under chapter 6, part 1 of this title who is granted a surplus lines license in accordance with this chapter. See Tennessee Code 56-14-102
- Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
Any violation of this part shall subject the agent to the revocation or suspension of the surplus lines agent‘s license for a period of not less than one (1) year and a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500).
