Utah Code 10-19-302. Municipal authority — Commission authority

(1)	The municipal legislative body may adopt procedures necessary to implement this chapter.

Commission: means the Public Service Commission. See Utah Code 10-19-102
Municipal: means of or relating to a municipality. See Utah Code 10-1-104
Municipal electric utility: means any municipality that owns, operates, controls, or manages a facility that provides electric power for a retail customer, whether domestic, commercial, industrial, or otherwise. See Utah Code 10-19-102

(2)	Nothing in this chapter authorizes the commission to exercise any power over a municipal electric utility‘s electrical generation, demand-side management program, or other operation.
