Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 34.35.400

  • Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

The person performing the services or doing the work named in Alaska Stat. § 34.35.395 is only entitled to a lien under Alaska Stat. § 34.35.39534.35.425 for services or work for the nine months or a shorter period preceding the recording of the claim of lien under Alaska Stat. § 34.35.405.
