Oregon Statutes 401.664 – Emergency operations plan; credentialing plans
(1) Emergency health care providers registered under ORS § 401.654 and other health care providers who volunteer to perform health care services under ORS § 401.651 to 401.670 must provide those services in accordance with the emergency operations plan and credentialing plan adopted by the emergency health care center or by the health care facility at which the services are rendered.
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 401.664
- Emergency: means a human created or natural event or circumstance that causes or threatens widespread loss of life, injury to person or property, human suffering or financial loss, including but not limited to:
(a) Fire, wildfire, explosion, flood, severe weather, landslides or mud slides, drought, earthquake, volcanic activity, tsunamis or other oceanic phenomena, spills or releases of oil or hazardous material as defined in ORS § 466. See Oregon Statutes 401.025
(2) An emergency health care center or health care facility may determine the services to be provided by any emergency health care provider registered under ORS § 401.654 or other health care provider who volunteers to perform health care services under ORS § 401.651 to 401.670. [2003 c.298 § 6]
