Oregon Statutes 401.904 – Rules
The Oregon Department of Emergency Management, in consultation with the State Department of Geology and Mineral Industries, shall adopt rules governing the conduct of earthquake emergency drills required by ORS § 401.900 and 401.902. In addition to the Oregon Department of Emergency Management submitting the rules for publication pursuant to ORS § 183.360, the departments shall each post the rules on an electronic bulletin board, home page or similar site. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 401.904
- Emergency: means a human created or natural event or circumstance that causes or threatens widespread loss of life, injury to person or property, human suffering or financial loss, including but not limited to:
(a) Fire, wildfire, explosion, flood, severe weather, landslides or mud slides, drought, earthquake, volcanic activity, tsunamis or other oceanic phenomena, spills or releases of oil or hazardous material as defined in ORS § 466. See Oregon Statutes 401.025
