Terms Used In 17 CFR 38.550

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.

(a) To assist in the prevention of customer and market abuses; and

(b) To provide evidence of any violations of the rules of the contract market.
