Terms Used In Alabama Code 6-6-74

  • Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Alabama Code 1-1-1

Branch writs of attachment may issue to any county of the state directed to any sheriff of the State of Alabama, to be executed as in Section 6-6-73.
