(a) This section applies only to a polling place used to hold an election for more than one political party.
(b) An election officer conducting a primary election may not:
(1) suggest a political party’s ballot to a voter; or
(2) discuss any race on the ballot with a voter.

- Primary election: means an election held by a political party under Chapter 172 to select its nominees for public office, and, unless the context indicates otherwise, the term includes a presidential primary election. See Texas Election Code 1.005
