(1) The department shall develop and maintain a website through which employers may:

Terms Used In Utah Code 35A-4-509

  • Benefits: means the money payments payable to an individual as provided in this chapter with respect to the individual's unemployment. See Utah Code 35A-4-201
  • Department: means the Department of Workforce Services created in Section 35A-1-103. See Utah Code 35A-1-102
  • Division: means the Unemployment Insurance Division. See Utah Code 35A-4-201
  • Process: means a writ or summons issued in the course of a judicial proceeding. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
     (1)(a) access the following information:

          (1)(a)(i) the division‘s rules and processes for the administration of this chapter;
          (1)(a)(ii) a description of conduct that disqualifies a claimant from receiving benefits under Section 35A-4-405;
          (1)(a)(iii) instructions for detecting and reporting possible violations of Section 35A-4-405;
          (1)(a)(iv) information about the process for determining whether a claimant has violated Section 35A-4-405, including the factors considered by the division in making the determination;
          (1)(a)(v) any other resources available to employers to assist in understanding the requirements of this chapter; and
          (1)(a)(vi) the division contact information;
     (1)(b) report possible violations of Section 35A-4-405 to the division; and
     (1)(c) communicate directly with the division.
(2) The department shall ensure that the website described in Subsection (1):

     (2)(a) is developed in a user-friendly manner with simple, easy-to-understand language; and
     (2)(b) is directly accessible via a link from the main page of the division’s website.
