Terms Used In 10 CFR 14.31
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- NRC: as used in this part mean the agency established by section 201(a) of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, but do not include any contractor with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. See 10 CFR 14.1
(a) Require the claimant to furnish any evidence or information which is relevant to its consideration of the claim;
(b) Examine the claimant; or
(c) Investigate, or request any other Federal agency to investigate, a claim filed under this part.
