Terms Used In Alabama Code 12-17-90
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- circuit: means judicial circuit. See Alabama Code 1-1-1
The offices of the circuit clerks shall be at the courthouses of their respective counties. Vacancies in such an office shall be filled in accordance with Constitutional Amendment No. 328.
