  • Litigation: A case, controversy, or lawsuit. Participants (plaintiffs and defendants) in lawsuits are called litigants.

The Alabama Litigation Accountability Act, Article 6, commencing with Section 12-19-270, of Chapter 19 of Title 12, shall apply to this chapter.
