Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 08.76.450

  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

If a licensee, or an officer, agent, or employee of a licensee violates Alaska Stat. § 08.76.10008.76.590, the licensee is liable to the state for a civil penalty. Notwithstanding Alaska Stat. § 08.01.075(a)(8), the penalty may not be less than $200 or more than $2,000. The amount of the civil penalty must be adjusted to the seriousness of the violation.
