Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 18.55.710

  • municipality: means a political subdivision incorporated under the laws of the state that is a home rule or general law city, a home rule or general law borough, or a unified municipality. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

A municipality or other public body may, without limiting any provisions of Alaska Stat. § 18.55.700, do any and all things necessary to aid and cooperate in the planning and undertaking of an urban renewal project in the area in which it is authorized to act, including the furnishing of financial and other assistance as the municipality or public body is authorized by Alaska Stat. § 18.55.48018.55.960 for or in connection with a redevelopment plan or redevelopment project.
