Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 18.56.540

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

For the purposes of administration of Alaska Stat. § 18.56.40018.56.600, the corporation shall arrange for and maintain a toll-free telephone number for the corporation so that private financial institutions and their borrowers may contact the corporation from any location in the state by telephone without a toll charge.
