In Alaska Stat. § 19.30.260 – 19.30.320,

(1) “construction” or “road improvement” has the meaning given in Alaska Stat. § 19.59.001 and includes utility and drainage costs but excludes financial costs, right-of-way costs, and new road construction;

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 19.30.320

  • municipality: means a political subdivision incorporated under the laws of the state that is a home rule or general law city, a home rule or general law borough, or a unified municipality. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(2) “municipality” means a municipality that has road construction or maintenance powers;
(3) “subdivision” has the meaning given in Alaska Stat. § 40.15.900.
