Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 23.20.248

  • action: includes any matter or proceeding in a court, civil or criminal. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • employer: means (A) an employing unit which for some portion of a day within the calendar year has or had in employment one or more individuals. See Alaska Statutes 23.20.520
  • state: includes the states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. See Alaska Statutes 23.20.520
(1) the employer is current on all final assessments, including interest and penalties made under this chapter; and
(2) if requested, the employer deposits and keeps on deposit the security described in Alaska Stat. § 23.20.247 to protect against future failures and to comply with this chapter.
(b) The department may not seek injunctive relief under (a) of this section until the department has given the employer at least 30 days to comply with an order relating to security under Alaska Stat. § 23.20.247.
(c) The department may not be required to post a bond for injunctive relief under this section.
