Alaska Statutes 23.25.040 – Prerequisites to maintenance of action

An action may not be maintained under this chapter unless

(1) it is shown that there exist beneficiaries as provided in Alaska Stat. § 23.25.010;

action: includes any matter or proceeding in a court, civil or criminal. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

(2) the action is brought within two years from the time the cause of action accrued.
