The court may specify one parent as the primary caretaker of the child and one home as the primary home of the child for the purposes of defining eligibility for public assistance. This finding does not diminish the rights of either parent and does not create a presumption for or against either parent in a proceeding for the modification of a legal decision-making or parenting time order.

Terms Used In Arizona Laws 25-403.07

  • Legal decision-making: means the legal right and responsibility to make all nonemergency legal decisions for a child including those regarding education, health care, religious training and personal care decisions. See Arizona Laws 25-401
  • Parenting time: means the schedule of time during which each parent has access to a child at specified times. See Arizona Laws 25-401
