The director shall cooperate with the administrators of investment adviser, investment company and management and similar laws of other states and of the United States and with the national association of securities dealers, inc. with a view to achieving maximum uniformity in the interpretation and enforcement of like provisions of the laws administered by them.

  • Director: means the director of the securities division of the commission. See Arizona Laws 44-1801
  • Investment adviser: means any person who, for compensation, engages in the business of advising others, either directly or through publications or writings, as to the value of securities or as to the advisability of investing in, purchasing or selling securities or who, for compensation and as a part of a regular business, issues or promulgates analyses or reports concerning securities.   • Investment company: means any company that is registered under the investment company act of 1940. See Arizona Laws 44-3101
