Agents of the state department, while conducting enforcement activities pursuant to this division, are peace officers and are subject to all of the powers and immunities granted to Food and Drug Section inspectors pursuant to § 106500 of the Health and Safety Code in the same manner as are any Food and Drug Section inspectors of the state department.
