Every cause of action under this chapter survives the death of any person who might have been a plaintiff or defendant.

Terms Used In California Corporations Code 31305
- Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
- Person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person. See California Corporations Code 18
- Plaintiff: The person who files the complaint in a civil lawsuit.
