(a) The board may authorize advance payments on a contract or grant under this chapter pursuant to subdivision (d) of § 11019.1 of the Government Code.

(b) This section shall remain in effect only until July 1, 2025, and as of that date is repealed.

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Subdivision: means a subdivision of the section in which that term occurs unless some other section is expressly mentioned. See California Fish and Game Code 73
