The commission shall establish a capacity reduction fee on the taking of certain species of fish and shellfish, consistent with the West Coast Groundfish Fishery Capacity Reduction Program. In establishing the fee, the commission shall also consider the administrative cost associated with collecting these fees.

Terms Used In California Fish and Game Code 8126

  • Commission: means the Fish and Game Commission, and "commissioner" means a member of the Fish and Game Commission. See California Fish and Game Code 30
  • Fish: means a wild fish, mollusk, crustacean, invertebrate, amphibian, or part, spawn, or ovum of any of those animals. See California Fish and Game Code 45
