The department may do all of the following:
(a) Accept any federal funds provided for any of the purposes of this chapter.

- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
(b) Accept any gift, donation, bequest, or grant of funds from a private or public agency for any of the purposes of this chapter.
