The State Department of Public Health may investigate, apply for, and enter into agreements to secure federal or nongovernmental funding opportunities for the purposes of advancing public health, subject to the provisions of § 13326 of the Government Code for federal funding or applicable administrative review and approval for nongovernmental funding opportunities.
