The division may at any time, upon good cause being shown therefor, and after notice and an opportunity to be heard, revoke any permit to operate a conveyance.

Terms Used In California Labor Code 7312
- Conveyance: means any elevator, dumbwaiter, escalator, moving platform lift, stairway chairlift, material lift or dumbwaiter with automatic transfer device, automated people mover, or other equipment subject to this chapter. See California Labor Code 7300.1
- Division: means the Division of Occupational Safety and Health. See California Labor Code 7300.1
- Permit: means a document issued by the division that indicates that the conveyance has had the required safety inspection and tests and fees have been paid as set forth in this chapter. See California Labor Code 7300.1
