In this chapter, “licensee” means a person, firm, or corporation that satisfies both of the following:

(a) Has a license issued pursuant to subdivision (b) of Section 29050.

Terms Used In California Penal Code 29030

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • license: shall include a permit or a certificate issued by a state agency. See California Penal Code 23
  • person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person. See California Penal Code 7

(b) Is among those recorded in the centralized list specified in Section 29060.
