Commencing July 1, 2005, the establishment, organization, jurisdiction, powers, duties, responsibilities, and functions of the Youth Authority as provided in the Youth Authority Act (Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 1700) of Division 2.5 of the Welfare and Institutions Code), as it existed on June 30, 2005, are continued in the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Division of Juvenile Facilities.
