  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
  • Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
  • Class: means a group of carriers or related businesses as specified by the commission for purposes of establishing the fees pursuant to this article. See California Public Utilities Code 424
  • Commission: means the Public Utilities Commission created by §. See California Public Utilities Code 20
