  • Agency: means the Office of Emergency Services. See California Penal Code 13800
  • Appraisal: A determination of property value.
  • Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
  • Assessee: means the person to whom property or a tax is assessed. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 23
  • Beneficiary: A person who is entitled to receive the benefits or proceeds of a will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan, annuity, or other contract. Source: OCC
  • Board: means the Board of State and Community Corrections. See California Penal Code 13800
  • board: means the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 20
  • Community: means city or county governments or portions or combinations thereof. See California Penal Code 13841
