(a) Not later than January 1, 2015, and semiannually thereafter, the system shall, in accordance with the provisions of § 11-4a, report to the Governor and the General Assembly on the status and progress of CSCU 2020. Each report shall include, but not be limited to: (1) Information on the number of projects authorized and approved hereunder including, relative to such projects, project costs, timeliness of completion and any problems which have developed in implementation, and a schedule of projects remaining and their expected costs; and (2) the amount of money raised from private sources for the capital and endowment programs. For purposes of preparing each report, upon request of the board of regents, the Treasurer shall promptly provide information concerning bonds authorized, approved and issued under sections 10a-91a to 10a-91h, inclusive.

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • succeeding: when used by way of reference to any section or sections, mean the section or sections next preceding, next following or next succeeding, unless some other section is expressly designated in such reference. See Connecticut General Statutes 1-1

(b) Commencing January 1, 2010, the first semiannual report in each year submitted in accordance with subsection (a) of this section shall include such information as requested by the bonding subcommittee of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to finance, revenue and bonding, including, but not limited to: (1) The use of bond funds in the current fiscal year, (2) projected use of bond funds for the next succeeding fiscal year, and (3) any updated master plans impacting the balance of the projects. In the event that said bonding subcommittee determines that there has been a significant change in the economic circumstances of the state sufficient to warrant recommendations for modification of the program, the subcommittee may make recommendations for appropriate action to said committee.
