The convening authority of a general or special court-martial or court of inquiry shall detail or employ qualified court reporters, who shall record the proceedings of and testimony taken before that court. Under like regulations the convening authority of a military court may detail or employ interpreters who shall interpret for the court.

Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 27-169

  • Convening authority: includes , in addition to the person who convened the court, a commissioned officer commanding for the time being, or a successor in command. See Connecticut General Statutes 27-141
  • Military court: means a court-martial, a court inquiry, or a provost court. See Connecticut General Statutes 27-141
  • Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.
