No referee or member of the board shall appear for or on behalf of himself or any party before any other referee or before the board. No referee or member of the board shall appear in any court on his own behalf or on behalf of any party whose matter before the court consists of an appeal or other proceeding which commenced before one of the referees or before the board.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 31-249d
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Board: means the Employment Security Board of Review. See Connecticut General Statutes 31-237a
- Referee: means an employment security appeals referee. See Connecticut General Statutes 31-237a
