The Superior Court shall provide any person who applies for a restraining order in a domestic violence situation with information on steps necessary to continue such order beyond the initial period and shall provide an applicant with information on how to contact a domestic violence counselor, as defined in § 52-146k, and a domestic violence agency, as defined in § 52-146k.
