At the time of an individual’s designation as a member‘s emergency interim successor, the individual shall take the oath required for the member to whose powers and duties the successor is designated to succeed. No other oath is required.

Terms Used In Delaware Code Title 29 Sec. 1708
- Member: means a member of the General Assembly under Article II of the Delaware Constitution. See Delaware Code Title 29 Sec. 1703
- Oath: includes affirmation in all cases where an affirmation may be substituted for an oath, and "sworn" includes affirmed; and the forms shall be varied accordingly. See Delaware Code Title 1 Sec. 302
- Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
