At the time of an individual’s designation as a member‘s emergency interim successor, the individual shall take the oath required for the member to whose powers and duties the successor is designated to succeed. No other oath is required.

  • Member: means a member of the General Assembly under Article II of the Delaware Constitution. See Delaware Code Title 29 Sec. 1703
  • Oath: includes affirmation in all cases where an affirmation may be substituted for an oath, and "sworn" includes affirmed; and the forms shall be varied accordingly. See Delaware Code Title 1 Sec. 302
  • Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
