Terms Used In Delaware Code > Title 9 > Chapter 63 - Building Permits

  • Building: means any structure, building, edifice or part thereof. See Delaware Code Title 9 Sec. 6301
  • Construction: means alteration, removal, demolition, addition, repair or construction of any new or old building. See Delaware Code Title 9 Sec. 6301
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • Person: means any architect, builder, contractor, repairman, agent, partner or corporation as well as an individual. See Delaware Code Title 9 Sec. 6301
  • Verdict: The decision of a petit jury or a judge.
