§ 512. Transferability; change in ownership or control. 1. Licenses issued under this article are not transferable, absent written consent of the commissioner.

- License: means a license, permit or registration issued pursuant to this article. See N.Y. Agriculture and Markets Law 505
2. A license shall become void by a change in ownership, substantial corporate change or change of location or acreage grown without prior written approval of the commissioner. The commissioner may promulgate rules and regulations allowing for certain types of changes in ownership without the need for prior written approval.
