§ 572. Registration required. No trading stamp company shall advertise or distribute trading stamps issued in this state unless it shall have filed with the secretary of state a statement of registration accompanied by representative samples of its stamps, stamp collection books, stamp redemption catalogues and stamp distribution and redemption agreement forms, currently used in this state. Such statement of registration shall be filed for a one year period commencing on July first, nineteen hundred seventy-one and annually thereafter on or before July first of each year; provided however, that any trading stamp company advertising or distributing such trading stamps for the first time subsequent to July first, nineteen hundred seventy-one shall file its initial statement of registration prior to advertising or distributing such trading stamps and thereafter shall file annually on or before July first of each year as provided herein.
