§ 13-109. Definition of "transfer." As used in sections 13-101, 13-103, 13-105 and 13-107, the term "transfer" includes sale, assignment, conveyance, deed and gift.

- Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
