  • Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
  • person: includes individuals, children, firms, associations, joint adventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations. See Florida Statutes 1.01
In addition to the penalties and other enforcement provisions of this chapter, if any person violates this chapter or any rule adopted pursuant to this chapter, the department may initiate a proceeding for injunction in the circuit court of the county where such person resides or has his or her principal place of business, and may apply for such temporary and permanent orders as the department deems necessary to restrain such person from committing such violation.
