Terms Used In Florida Statutes 698.02
- Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
- Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
To entitle such mortgage to record, its execution must be acknowledged or proved in the manner provided for mortgages of real property.
