- person: includes individuals, children, firms, associations, joint adventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations. See Florida Statutes 88.6011
- political subdivision: include counties, cities, towns, villages, special tax school districts, special road and bridge districts, bridge districts, and all other districts in this state. See Florida Statutes 88.6011
- Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
Goods, wares, or merchandise manufactured or mined in whole or in part by prisoners (except prisoners on parole or probation) may not be sold or offered for sale in this state by any person or by any federal authority or state or political subdivision thereof; however, this section does not forbid the sale, exchange, or disposition of such goods within the limitations set forth in s. 946.515, s. 946.523, or s. 946.524.
