  • Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
judge of the Superior Court, may upon a petition filed by the Director, issue an injunction or other appropriate order restraining conduct in violation of provisions of this Act or other regulations adopted pursuant to this Chapter. The proceedings under this Section shall be governed by the Code of Civil Procedure, Chapter III, Title VII, except that no undertaking shall be required and the Director shall not be required to allege facts necessary to show or tending to show lack of an adequate remedy at law or irreparable injury.
