Terms Used In 12 Guam Code Ann. § 11102

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Public defender: Represent defendants who can't afford an attorney in criminal matters.
(a) Corporation means the Public Defender Service
Corporation.

(b) Board means the Board of Trustees of the Public
Defender Service Corporation.

(c) Director means the Director of the Public Defender
Service Corporation.
