Terms Used In 12 Guam Code Ann. § 11114

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Public defender: Represent defendants who can't afford an attorney in criminal matters.
There is transferred to the Corporation all items of property now assigned to the Office of the Public Defender of Guam.
