(a) Fellows will provide two (2) years of service to the University, the Guam Community College, or to the Department of Education for each year of fellowship. Former Fellows may be terminated from employment at the University under the rules which apply to all faculty members’.

(b) Fellows who do not complete the service requirements must pay back all monies expended on their behalf with interest computed at the Guam prime rate plus two percent (2%). Such amount will be proportionally reduced for service completed;

(c) Fellows who do not complete their degree program within four (4) years may continue for one (1) additional year at their own expense. If not completed within five (5) years of entry, such Fellows are liable for all monies expended on their behalf on the same terms as are set out in paragraph (b) of this section;

(d) Fellows may be assigned one (1) full time equivalent position work load for one (1) year prior to entering a doctoral program. Fellows may be given special assignments while completing their dissertations.
