  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
y interested person may petition an agency requesting the promulgation, amendment or repeal of any rule. Each agency shall prescribe by rule the form for such petitions and the procedure for their submission, consideration and disposition. Provided that all such petitions shall be denied specifying the reasons therefor, or set for hearing in accordance with the provisions of § 9301 by said agency within sixty (60) days of the date of the filing thereof.
