  • Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
The council shall meet twice a year and may be called for special meetings from time to time by a majority of the council members. The council shall elect a chairperson and a vice chairperson and other officers from its members. Six (6) members constitute a quorum. The members of the council appointed by the governor shall be compensated as provided in section 59-509(h), Idaho Code. Legislative members of the council shall be compensated as provided by the citizens’ committee for legislative compensation for interim legislative meetings which shall be paid from the legislative account.
