  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
     Penalty for failure to fulfill the conditions of a DFI award.If the obligation of the award is not met, repayment of the funds awarded may be required according to procedures developed by the Program Board.
